Summit Seekrs
A good hike with serene scenes and good company does wonders for ones mood. Summit seekrs makes it happen organising slow-paced wellbeing walks connecting people with each other and nature.
They’ve also honourably partnered with charities like Mind and recently Cianna’s smiles fundraising for Sickle cell awareness.
Their founder is a well travelled hiker and in the space of just over two years has made something special that you should, in this instance, run not walk to.

Walk This Way
This hiking community based in London are all about building friendships and opening the outdoors for all. Their thoughtfully captured film photography brings each trip to life with a nostalgic warmth and charm of a family holiday to Alicante when you were 12.
With nearly 8k on the gram they’ve kept a consistent line up of hikes for their community as well as an interesting partnership with outdoor apparel brand Arc’teryx.
Adventurous club
If you want to kick the adrenaline up a gear then this social club is the place for you. Cave tours, white-water rafting, climbing, theme parks, paint ball, you name it they’ve done it or are probably planning it soon.

Nuff said is a thriving 21+ hiking crew regularly visiting stunning sights across the UK.
With hikes to Amersham Chess Valley, Peak District, Margate and the always popular Seven Sisters they have curated a community drawing regulars and new people again and again.
Running for over two years now they’re set for even more memories and connections and you’ll be met with welcome arms.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE GIRLS UK
Led by a 14 women strong team the Outdoors Adventures Girl Club is an experienced host of outdoor events in all regions of the UK and even overseas with trips planned to the Swiss Alps, Madeira Portugal, Slovenia, New Zealand and more.
A group for all ages this club has women as young as 20 and as old as 72 attend their weekend and day trips so whatever your age you will feel welcome.
They have a following of over 40k on Instagram and have become perhaps the most established third space for women seeking friendship, connection and time to recharge in the outdoors.
CITY GIRL HIKES
Tiffany started city girl Hikes when she moved to London where she struggled to find the community she wanted to enjoy the outdoors… so she simply created it.
Now, the community she always wanted is setting off to Snowdonia Wales for Adventure weekend trips and Chipotle sponsored Surrey hikes.
So if you like scenic strolls in deer parks then this community for women who love the outdoors could be for you.

The Weekly Stroll
If you’re looking for something more slow paced, casual and simple, then this is the third space for you. Meet the Weekly Stroll fam who meet in London once a week to exploring new parks and neighbourhoods.
The walking club phenomenon is effortlessly simple, social and accessible; walking perhaps is underrated nowadays, but nonetheless a wonderful form of being mobile and enjoying nature.

Off-Peak Adventures club
Off-peak Adventures Club is a community designed for you to connect through nature and outdoors. Explore scenic canal paths and stunning hiking trails with this adventure club amongst spectacular views and a more mature crowd.
Their page helpfully includes lots of informative content for those new to hikes to understand pace, maps and more.
AFK Club
AFK stands for Away from keyboard and that’s their goal- less screen time more adventure.
It’s more than needed. American journalist Derek Thompson, documented an alarming finding: face-to-face socialising among under-25s has fallen by 40 to 50 per cent since 2003. I’m sure you can guess why.
AFK understands face-to-face interaction produces effects that digital contact cannot replicate.

Hike United meet on hikes all over England, Wales, Scotland with past hikes including Lews-Seaford, Haselmere, Shalford and Luds Curch.
The founder is a scout leader whose heart is for people to simply feel free to make friends, enjoy the outdoors and improve their mental health, I can cheers to that.

Hyke it up
Hyke It Up is the hiking community for millenials. They meet up once a month across different locations in the U.K to get fit and explore the outdoors while networking and meeting new people.
Sensationally, after just two hikes, they grew to over 6,000 members; all from an impulse idea in back in 2024.
