1OIRONWOMEN

10Ironwomen started in October 2018 when ten friends signed up to Ironman Barcelona. Some had never completed a triathlon before and didn’t own a bike. Others had never swam in the sea and a few hadn’t run a marathon. But their mission was clear - prove Ironman events are not, as the name might suggest, just for men.

Now a British Triathlon affiliated club, they’ve built a community for women to meet like-minded new friends and training buddies all inspiring meeting across Bristol, London and Edinburgh.

WOMENINTRIUK

Women in Tri Uk is a registered UK charity building inclusive, women-led triathlon spaces. A community built by women for women, supporting both first-timers and experienced athletes across swim, bike, run, and triathlon.

They are committed to helping women find their way into the sport, build confidence, and stay there.

You can find Women in Tri UK sessions in London, Bristol, and York, with coached sessions and other community meet-ups led by SBR Leaders
